About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive support across multiple areas of human resources, with primary focus on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, credentialing, HR projects, general HR administration, and employee relations . This role serves as a key HR partner to employees and managers, ensuring efficient HR processes, exceptional service, and adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
  • Successful completion of in-house training.
  • 2 to 4 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to recruiting, and generalist responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in full‑cycle recruiting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer‑service skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build positive working relationships with diverse healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to working as part of a team to attract and hire top talent.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to shift priorities and adapt quickly when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring decisions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and credential verifications.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) for compliance and accuracy.
  • Build talent pipelines through job fairs, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Prepare and extend offer letters; coordinate new hire process from acceptance through start date.
  • Lead new hire orientations and onboarding sessions, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Verify completion of all new hire documentation and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as point of contact for new employees regarding onboarding questions and support.
  • Manage credentialing and re‑credentialing processes for employees and/or clinical staff (as applicable).
  • Track and maintain licensure, certifications, and required documentation.
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals.
  • Assist with regulatory audits and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain personnel files and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with HR transactions including payroll changes, status changes, compensation updates, and employee documentation.
  • Provide support with benefits administration, enrollment, and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with policy updates, handbook revisions, and process improvements.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, practices, and workplace concerns.
  • Support employee relations activities, including documentation, coaching, and participation in investigations as needed.
  • Help maintain a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace environment.
  • Support performance management processes and coach supervisors as needed.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives such as training programs, employee engagement efforts, and process improvement projects.
  • Support annual HR cycles including performance reviews, compliance training, and compensation processes.
  • Assist with HR metrics, reporting, and data tracking to support decision‑making.
  • Supports other HR Generalists and HR team members where and when needed.
