The position involves maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. The role includes advising front line supervisors and managers on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues, planning and conducting new employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals, and facilitating employee engagement meetings. Additionally, the position partners with HR leadership to ensure critical or recurring issues have a resolution plan and leads supervisory and management training specific to HR-related topics. The role also requires responding to employee inquiries of moderate complexity regarding policies, procedures, and programs, as well as managing non-exempt recruiting activities and exempt recruiting through first level supervisory roles, including organizing and executing job fairs.
