About The Position

The Human Resource Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for guests and employees at Lexington Medical Center. This position is responsible for coordinating the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring compliance with documentation, and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System. The coordinator will also manage the new hire process, including conducting references, verifying credentials, and ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed accurately. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3 Years of Direct Customer Service Experience.
  • 6 Months of Operational Experience in a related area.
  • Experienced using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Basic knowledge of human resources/recruitment concepts and principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and data entry.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Assist employees with information related to personnel policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate recruitment logistics and ensure compliant documentation.
  • Manage the new hire process including conducting references and verifying education.
  • Enter new hire data into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Track job requisitions and candidate information through the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Partner with Recruiter to manage interviews and the employment center schedule.
  • Support onboarding and ensure new hire paperwork is complete.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process by collecting and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Conduct mini orientation and assist with general orientation.
  • Prepare new hire list for orientation and distribute to departments.
  • Run queries for auditing and verification of accurate employee information.
  • Monitor reports and reconcile concerns to the HR Supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals or groups regarding HR processes.
