About The Position

The HR Coordinator will support the Director of HR in all aspects of human capital management to maintain effective and efficient operations of the human resources department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two or more years of HR experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive rapport with employees.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized required.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft office suite required.
  • The ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and the adherence of company policies.
  • Coordinate with recruiter and manage all aspects of new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date human resources files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to Director of HR.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of employee or employee related information, human resources file and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Respond to unemployment claims request in a timely manner.
  • Assists with planning and execution of benefits enrollment, employee training, annual performance evaluations and competencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
