About The Position

The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll. Additionally, focusing on employee benefits to ensure enrollments, and de enrollments are completed in a timely manner and ensure new hire paperwork is completed and entered. Assist in the recruitment process as requested by HR Manager or Director.

  • 6 months of human resource or relevant experience.
  • Must be current or willing to be vaccinated for the following: TDAP (up to date booster), MMR series, Varicella, HEP B series, Flu Shot, TB Screening

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Presents new hire offers to selected applicants.
  • Ensures new hires have properly completed all onboarding steps, to include, onboarding packet, background check, pre-employment drug testing, HRIS system set up and enrollment, provided all requested credentialing documents if required.
  • Performs enrollment and de enrollment for employee benefits at time of hire, change of life or open enrollment.
  • Manages benefit vendor databases to ensure accuracy, including auditing no less than once a quarter.
  • Maintain FMLA and Colorado FAMLI leave and tracking, ensuring proper communication to employees, with support from Human Resource Manager and Director.
  • Supports the HR Manager in scheduling interviews as requested or assigned.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes; refers more complex questions to HR Manager.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Assists in the full cycle of recruiting, including job postings, prescreen, interview, offer letter preparation.
  • Assists with new hire orientation including, orientation, tours, new orientation schedule, all new hire paperwork.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department which could include minute taking for meetings.
  • Manages and ensures employees are registered and receive any selected benefits.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and events.
  • Assists with HR projects when needed.
