Join our dynamic team as a Human Resource Clerk and play a vital role in supporting our associates and managers with various human resource functions. You will be responsible for communicating with individuals and groups, processing payroll documentation, and providing administrative and human resource function support. Additionally, you will assist with multiple human resources functions, provide support for the hiring process, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Communicate with individuals and groups verbally and/or in writing to provide information and answer questions related to payroll, benefits, and employment.
  • Process payroll documentation for pay adjustments, including researching, verifying, and filing daily time reports, time and pay adjustments, and payroll edits.
  • Assist with human resource functions, such as payroll, benefits, employment, and other related paperwork.
  • Respond to issues and questions related to payroll, benefits, and employment, and report deficiencies to management.
  • Provide administrative and human resource function support by performing general clerical duties, such as filing, keying, faxing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
  • Enter data in multiple systems, prepare reports, and maintain logs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the hiring process, including scheduling interviews and drug screens, completing reference checks, and processing new hires, terminations, and transfer paperwork.
  • Provide support for transfer orientation and other human resources functions as needed.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and diversity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources, payroll, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
