Join us and be part of something extraordinary. ARServices is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to work in the Falls Church, VA area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Analyst or related field.
  • 7+ years of HR experience in government contracting with specialization in employee relations.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws, etc.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement principles and strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and build meaningful relationships with associates at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Paychex Flex).
  • HR Certification (e.g. SHRM, PHR).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all areas of people operations support, employee concerns, policy interpretation, training, compliance, corrective action procedures, and hiring/termination support.
  • Address, manage, and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Collaborate, review, and approve corrective action measures to ensure consistency of policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with leadership to proactively address employee concerns.
  • Lead new hire on-boarding and orientation activities.
  • Support in the development and execution of programs and initiatives focusing on culture, values, and people.
  • Work with leadership on performance management, talent development, compensation, and employee engagement.
  • Help manage employee benefits offerings in conjunction with brokers, vendors, and leadership.
  • Partner with recruiting to help identify candidates for existing roles.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
