  • Collaborating cross functionally to ensure onboarding and offboarding success for employees.
  • Advising on generally defined procedures and disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, operations, etc.
  • Implements systems related to specific job functions and processes.
  • Supports plant leadership team with reporting and Workday accuracy including payroll processes.
  • Supports employees with assistance with various requests.
  • Applying experience and knowledge of general HR and company policies and practices.
  • Serves as main employee contact for general subject matter that includes: payroll, benefits, recruiting, disability and other HR related day to day questions and issues.
  • Supporting external staffing procedures including administering testing, coordinating interviews, community affairs programs, various company events throughout the year, etc.
  • Willingness to be a back up for other administrative support.
  • Willingness to be flexible for all other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma/GED and Five (5) years of customer service, HR or other relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and Two (2) years of customer service, HR or other relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Five (5) years of HR experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Knowledge of general HR practices and laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Good coordinating, analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player.
