About The Position

The Workday HCM Analyst at Carvana is a techno-functional role focused on managing and optimizing Workday systems and data. This position involves collaborating with senior analysts to design, implement, and support Workday integration solutions, ensuring effective change management and exceptional customer service. The analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's HR technology landscape, addressing user support cases, and performing system tests post-implementation.

Requirements

  • 2 years or more years configuration experience including but not limited to HCM, Talent & Performance, Compensation, US Payroll, Security Configuration.
  • Experience with Learning Management and Advanced Compensation modules is a plus.
  • 2 years or more experience with EIB, Core Connectors and Workday Studio.
  • 2 Years or more experience with BIRT & Composite reports.
  • Proficiency in creating and editing custom reports and dashboards.
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, and integration systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Must be able to quickly assimilate to new projects or information, and stay organized throughout multiple priorities.
  • Effectively able to write technical matters clearly and verbally restate complex issues in an effective manner for the audience.
  • The ability to work well throughout the department and multiple levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrates priority setting, business acumen, project planning and composure under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Learning Management and Advanced Compensation modules is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the ongoing requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment of new integrations or modules.
  • Understands the importance of change management to facilitate the transition to new technology and processes.
  • Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
  • Design BIRT, composite and complex reports as requested by users.
  • Addresses end-user support cases as assigned.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves production support issues, and resolves defects timely and with exceptional customer service.
  • Design, implement and support new Workday HCM functionality, focusing on internal and external integrations.
  • Perform system analysis and consult with technology team members and other stakeholders to offer optimal solutions.
  • Effectively partners with teams such as HR, Recruiting, Benefits, People Ops, IT, and others to provide support for requests for enhancements and troubleshooting.
  • Performs research into problems, identifying opportunities to correct the situation, and seeks opinions and feedback on suggested solutions.
  • Perform testing in Sandbox/Preview after Bi-Annual Workday releases deployed.
