About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assess local needs to design, implement, and evaluate relevant 4-H youth development programs.
  • Develop strategies to maximize the effectiveness of culturally relevant educational programs in collaboration with community organizations.
  • Coordinate, conduct, and publish applied research related to positive youth development and other areas of emphasis.
  • Create, teach, and evaluate programs for public and professional audiences using various delivery methods.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers and organizational partners for program delivery.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the county cooperative extension office and expand statewide visibility.
  • Participate in professional society activities and establish productive working relationships with scientists and extension personnel.
