The role involves performing a variety of office, secretarial, and patient care duties under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient Care or Designee. You will be responsible for coordinating services to ensure the completion of daily activities in the assigned nursing unit, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a supportive environment for patients.

Requirements

• Completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Computer skills including knowledge of the Meditech computer system and related secretarial experience are preferred.
• Over three months of related work experience required.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or have an exemption.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of office, secretarial, and related duties within the assigned unit.
• Provide basic patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and nutritional support.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Coordinate ancillary patient/unit services and requests for equipment/supplies.
• Assist the Manager, Patient Care or Designee with patient care and related responsibilities as directed.
