About The Position

Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable health system with multiple hospitals, clinics, and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented HUC-Nursing Assistant to be part of our community-focused and care-driven team. This position offers a $1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. The role is based in the PACU at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA, with a schedule of 32 hours per week, primarily during day/evening shifts from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Requirements

• Completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• Computer skills including knowledge of the Meditech computer system and related secretarial experience are preferred.
• Over three months of related work experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or have an exemption.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Meditech computer system.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of office, secretarial, and related duties within the assigned unit.
• Provide basic patient care duties including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and nutritional support.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Coordinate ancillary patient/unit services and requests for equipment/supplies.
• Assist the Manager, Patient Care or Designee with patient care and related responsibilities as directed.
