This HUC 7B position is located at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA, and is a night shift role (11:15pm - 7:15am) with weekend and holiday rotation. The role involves performing a variety of office, secretarial, and other related duties within and in support of the assigned unit, under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient Care or Designee. The HUC is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of services to ensure the completion of daily activities for the individual assigned nursing unit. This includes planning, organizing, and directing all unit patient-focused support activities, such as coordinating ancillary patient/unit services and requests for equipment/supplies. The HUC will also assist the Manager, Patient Care or Designee with duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Over three months up to and including one year of related work experience.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills including knowledge of the computer system and related secretarial experience are preferred.
