About The Position

HUB International's U.S. Internship Program is designed to launch your career in insurance brokerage. As an intern, you'll be part of a collaborative culture where your contributions matter and your growth is supported. This internship provides exposure to various career opportunities within the fast-growing insurance brokerage industry, allowing you to gain hands-on experience while working alongside teams in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, or Retirement & Private Wealth. You'll learn directly from industry experts and build both your professional skills and the foundation for a successful future career. The internship is full-time, paid at $22/hr, and runs for 10 weeks from June to August, based in our Berkeley Heights, NJ office.

Requirements

• College students with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn about the insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and handling multiple tasks.
• A collaborative team player with a desire to help others.
• Independent and self-motivated, capable of autonomous work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and service teams to engage with clients and communities across the United States.
• Manage policies, endorsements, renewals, data management, and assist in claims processing.
• Support analysis of United States insurance markets and regional trends.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to strengthen skills and industry knowledge.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations.
