About The Position

The HUB International Internship Summer Program 2025 in Occupational Health and Safety is a full-time, paid 10-week internship designed for students pursuing a career in safety consulting. Interns will work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, and engage in professional development activities while networking with industry leaders. This program aims to provide a comprehensive experience in risk consulting, with opportunities for outstanding interns to transition into full-time roles upon graduation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Safety, Insurance, Fire Safety, Loss Prevention, Environmental Health, or Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and open to weekly travel to client sites.
• High degree of self-motivation and discipline.
• Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
• Must be comfortable working with proprietary information and be able to maintain confidentiality.
• High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize is required.
• Prior internship experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with senior consultants to understand project needs and objectives.
• Develop safety programs based on OSHA, DOT, NFPA and industry best practices.
• Advise clients on best practices in risk mitigation and safety management strategies.
• Develop management/employee training programs and materials for clients.
• Conduct loss analysis & trending to identify client focus areas.
• Perform audits/assessments at client sites.
• Provide overall support to the consulting team.
