About The Position

Start up and operate the whey processing (WPC) ultra-filtration system and all other euipment for the making of cheese according to all specifications. We are seeking a skilled, reliable HTST operator to join our growing company. In this position, you will trace product flow through all systems: HTST, Ultra Filtration system, and Reverse Osmosis system. Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, identify opportunities to improve processes; complete preventative maintenance on separators, clarifier, pumps, valves, and membrane system. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate rEgulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
Certification and/or license - may be required during course of employment
Practical knowledge of lock-out tag-out procedures
Good mechanical ability
Able to effectively work in a team environment
Able to use company computer systems
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Able to follow directions
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must be able to read, write and speak English, bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
