You understand that when it comes to HTS Classification, the details matter. You love opportunities to learn new topics and improve processes. This is an in-person role in NYC corporate office, 3 days a week minimum What You’ll Do: · Classification of Women’s & Men’s Apparel, Footwear and Travel Goods for USA imports · Communicate with customs attorneys, customs brokers and lab for classification guidance · Upkeep seasonal HTS classification of new and carryover products in internal system (PLM and RLM) · Own HTS related communication with factories, and address questions from factories and sales team · Support cross-functional Seasonal Product Review meeting with Design, Merch and Production team, regarding HTS related point of view and related duty % impact · Influence and educate Design team regarding proactive Duty-Engineering options to achieve optimized Proto samples and production specs · Keep track of product spec changes during development and commercialization process that may impact HTS codes, duty rate and costs · Own data analytics and reports related to HTS, duty rate% and cost impact at micro and macro level · Assist PD partners with cost reporting as it relates to classifications, duties and tariffs You’ll Need to Have: · 1+ years of experience with Fashion Product HTS classification · Apparel and Footwear classification experience is a must · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment · Highly organized with attention to detail · Strong sense of ownership with ability to manage competing deadlines · Analytical with very strong Excel skills · Team-player · Willing to We’d Love to See: · Degree from a four-year college or equivalent · Experience working in PLM a plus MK Perks: · Generous Paid Time Off & Holiday Calendar · Summer Fridays · Internal Mobility Across Brands · Cross-Brand Discount · Exclusive Employee Sales · Fav 5 Cards (MK Discount for friends and family) · 401k Match · Paid Parental Leave · Thrive Wellness Program · Commuter Benefits · Gym Discounts — The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer. The salary for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Fashion Product HTS classification
  • Apparel and Footwear classification experience is a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment
