Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management Division seeks an experienced, reliable, & personable HTM Supervisor- Healthcare/ Biomed for Altru Health System located in Grand Forks, ND. POSITION DESCRIPTION Working independently under the limited supervision of the Director and/or District Manager II, inspects, repairs, maintains, and calibrates all types of clinical equipment and systems. Takes a lead role in operation and management of smaller operations or serves as second in command at larger/multiple accounts. Provides administrative, fiscal, and technical management of the operation, and supervision and training to the assigned staff. Interacts on a routine basis with hospital management and other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solution development. The Supervisor possesses significant ability in the life cycle management of sophisticated clinical inventory devices and systems. Develops and conducts on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required. Incentives Full Relocation Package is Included!

Requirements

  • Formal training and experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating medical devices as well as experience servicing senior BMET level equipment and areas. (i.e. Servo U, Hamilton, Vyaire, Getinge, Phillips Ventilators, Anesthesia, Telemetry, Phillips Patient Monitors, Critical Care, ER, OR, Lab, and GI)- Not all are required.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare technology operations and biomedical equipment, supervisory and leadership abilities, and experience with data management.
  • Microsoft excel experience is required.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • The ability to be organized, resourceful, adept at making decisions and managing budgets.
  • Strong service focus to include the ability to engage staff, vendors, and client to ensure service is continually sustained at a high level.
  • Leadership capabilities to oversee operations, client relations, and supervise their technician and engineering staff.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or a related field
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee both biomedical and imaging equipment services including vendor management, regulatory compliance, and project management.
  • Lead technicians in accomplishing goals, develop a team of biomedical professionals and evaluate staff productivity, efficiency, and other specific work quality performance indices.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance scheduling and develop work schedules for all staff technicians and make adjustments as needed to accommodate changing workloads.
  • Responsibility for all operations.
  • Assumes technical responsibilities.
  • Supervises managers.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
  • Verify process exists to ensure appropriate response to all service requests.
  • Produce, review, and make assessments of various reports related to work completion, unfinished work, preventive maintenance completion rates, and repeat equipment failures.
  • Understand and comply with Joint Commission and other applicable standards and regulations.
  • Provides accurate and timely reporting to Account and/or District Managers, and hospital management.
