About The Position

Coordinates, evaluates and provides music therapy to patients receiving hospice care.

Requirements

• Certified music therapist from an established music therapy institute.
• Licensed driver with reliable automobile which is insured in accordance with state law.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates and provides an organized music therapy program.
• Provides music therapy in alignment with the needs of the patient and physical limitations.
• Develops a plan of care.
• Completes all documentation as required by the organization in compliance with legal, governmental and accreditation requirements.
• Participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Performs other job-related tasks as requested.
