About The Position

The purpose of a Facilities Mechanic I position is to perform basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. You will assist all other Facilities Mechanics with more complex maintenance responsibilities. Additional responsibilities include participating in 5S organization and cleaning activities. You will report directly to Maintenance Area Manager onsite at our Piney Flats, TN location.

Requirements

• Comprehend technical manuals
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Trade skills
• 6+ months experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Prefer working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC systems

Responsibilities

• Perform and facilitate general facility repairs
• Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment
• Detect and inform team leaders of potential problems so that resolutions are performed before they affect the operation of the facility
