About The Position

As a HSM Security Engineer at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in securing and managing our Hardware Security Modules. Your expertise will ensure our encryption and key management systems protect sensitive data, aligning with the highest industry standards. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in configuring, monitoring and managing HSM devices (Gemalto, Safenet, Thales, HP, FutureX).
• 5+ years of experience in encryption and key management protocols.
• 5+ years of experience in ensuring compliance with security standards PCI, SOX, GDPR, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in managing HSMs within a financial services environment.
• Practical experience with Java and/or Python is a plus.
• Experience working with large auditing firms.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage HSM devices across the enterprise.
• Implement encryption and key management protocols to secure data.
• Ensure HSM systems comply with regulatory and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HSM operation and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSM solutions with other security infrastructure.
• Conduct periodic audits and assessments of security controls.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to HSM management.
