About The Position

Primary Responsibilities Implement and maintain HSE processes, procedures, and the EPS Global HSE Management System (HSE 360) Ensure compliance with OSHA, TCEQ, and other applicable regulatory requirements Lead or support incident investigations and drive injury-prevention initiatives Partner with leadership and employees to identify hazards and implement corrective actions Oversee environmental compliance, including storm water, air permits, and waste management Manage Hazard Communication programs and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Job Duties Conduct and document HSE inspections, audits, and compliance activities Deliver HSE orientation and ongoing training for employees Review and update HSE policies, procedures, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) Initiate and track work orders for HSE-related equipment and repairs Coordinate with HR and Workers’ Compensation on injury and case management Serve as primary contact during internal and external HSE audits and inspections Lead toolbox talks and participate in HSE meetings and initiatives Perform a mix of administrative (40–50%) and production floor (50–60%) responsibilities Travel approximately 5% annually Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HSE, science, or a related technical field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations (including CFR Titles 29 and 40)
  • Strong communication, training, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • ASP, CSP, or CSHO certification preferred
