This Position reports to: Business Health, Safety & Env Manager Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain. This is a 100% on-site role. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification - Distribution Solutions - Busway Division in Selmer, TN area. You will join a dynamic, talented, and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree OR 5 years prior experience in HSE
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Health/Safety or Environment or Nursing, LPN, RN
  • Experience with Data Analytics, Report Compiling and Excel Data Management
  • Prior experience supporting Health, Safety and Environment or working in an HSE role

Responsibilities

  • Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.
  • Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
  • Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
  • Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.
