Our team is looking for a HSE Specialist III to join them. You will report to the General Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL. To be considered for the HSE Specialist III opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: BS degree in occupational safety, a physical science, environmental studies or related field. 5+ years' experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Solid knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment laws and safety regulations required Knowledge of OSHA, Environmental, and DOT laws and regulations. In-depth knowledge of legislation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.) and procedures. Obtain/maintain First Aid / CPR / AED certification / HAZWOPER certification. Possess strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels of the organization while maintaining extreme confidentiality. Ability to wear a respirator, operate a powered industrial truck, and maintain a valid state driver's license. Proficient in data entry and recordkeeping. Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.
