About The Position

Our Client is seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Officer to champion workplace safety across multiple projects and sites. If you are passionate about promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and leading risk management initiatives, we encourage you to apply! The Health and Safety Officer will lead the development and execution of health and safety strategies, ensure regulatory and client-specific compliance, oversee training programs, and manage incident response processes. Your work will directly impact the well-being of all team members and the success of our operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Officer or related role
  • Hands-on experience with incident investigation and corrective actions
  • Strong background in training delivery and safety culture development
  • Ability to travel between project sites as needed

  • Health & Safety certifications (NEBOSH, VCA, or equivalent)
  • Incident and Risk Management experience
  • Proficiency in using Evotix or similar H&S management systems
  • Deep understanding of H&S regulations and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety (H&S) strategies across all Client sites and projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments (RAMS, LMRA), manage certifications, and ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Lead health and safety training programs, employee inductions, and Toolbox Talks; maintain certification registries to ensure a safe and informed workforce.
  • Manage incident reporting, lead investigations, implement corrective actions, and act as a key First Aider.
  • Oversee the rollout and use of Evotix for incident reporting, safety observations, analytics, and training enhancements.
  • Coordinate with safety suppliers to ensure sites are properly equipped with the necessary resources and equipment.
