Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career development Innovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functions Proactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrences Provide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standards Develop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organization Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standards Collaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materials Design ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well-being Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. 5–10 years of progressive HSE experience, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment. Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, influence, and engage teams. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory frameworks. Demonstrated experience managing risk assessments, incident analysis, and safety programs. Excellent communication, training, and problem‑solving skills. Certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent are a plus. Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders.
