About The Position

The HSE Lead supports and facilitates the implementation of the company's HSE Management System, typically at the level of the OpCo. The HSE Manager provides timely, accurate, and pertinent HSE support by leading a team of dedicated HSE Specialist and supporting safety-focused operations personnel across multiple locations. This role also holds a leadership position within the relevant business and contributes to building a sustainable and independent safety culture. Success in this position depends on very strong interpersonal and influencing skills, sound judgment, operational and technical credibility, initiative, implementing change, and a solid understanding of the products, processes, markets, and businesses served. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferrable Engineering or Occupational Safety and Environmental Health
  • At least 4 years of strong environmental and/or safety experience in manufacturing operations and site HSE management
  • In depth knowledge of Pressure Systems, LOTOTO, Mechanical Integrity, Confined Space Entry, Working at Height, Cranes and Lifting, Electricity, Fire and Dust explosion, forklift, Hazardous Substances, permit to work, Emergency response, Ergonomics.
  • Experience in Behavioral Safety and local legal requirements
  • Strong project management skills and business acumen
  • Ability to partner and communicate effectively with employees and business counterparts

Nice To Haves

  • Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor certification or Certified Industrial Training (CIT)
