Requirements

• Has an interest in workplace safety, environmental programs, or manufacturing/distribution operations.
• Is eager to learn through hands-on experience and on-the-floor exposure.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures.
• IS comfortable working in manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Communicates effectively and can work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
• Is dependable, curious, and open to feedback and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Participate in/complete risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA’s)
• Complete various site HSE floor activities/inspections. Examples include, but are not limited to: Lockout Tagout procedure audits/edits
• Layered Process Audits - LPA
• Safety Audits
• Other Site HSE audits
• Dock safety program at Distribution Center
• Safety Data Sheet (SDS)/Chemical survey, update SDS
• Assist HSE Leads and HSE Manager with various safety projects and data collection
• Other various HSE related activities as assigned by HSE Manger
