About The Position

Bachem is seeking an HSE Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our operations. This role involves developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to employees on safety practices. The HSE Coordinator will also be involved in incident investigations and will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Familiarity with environmental management systems
