You are a hands-on safety professional who thrives in an active operational environment and values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. You bring a strong working knowledge of OSHA and environmental health and safety standards and are comfortable engaging with field teams, supervisors, and leadership to promote a proactive safety culture. You are organized, detail-oriented, and confident presenting safety information and driving compliance across multiple sites. In this role, you will implement, monitor, and continuously improve site and regional safety programs in alignment with corporate EHS policies. You will support corporate safety initiatives, conduct new employee safety orientations and ongoing safety training for employees and subcontractors, and develop, coordinate, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly safety briefings and toolbox talks. Your responsibilities also include reviewing, developing, and maintaining Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Site-Specific Safety Plans, ensuring proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available, maintained, and consistently used, and maintaining accurate safety training records and databases. You will conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks, document and track corrective actions, investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazardous conditions, and prepare reports. You will collect and maintain OSHA-required data for internal, customer, and regulatory reporting, interface with project managers, supervisors, craft personnel, and corporate leadership, and review subcontractor safety plans and JHAs to ensure compliance. Additionally, you will safely handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
