About The Position

The HSE Administrator will provide administrative support within the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. This role involves maintaining and updating HSE documentation, tracking compliance deadlines, and coordinating communications related to HSE matters. The administrator will also assist in compliance reporting, training and development, and the implementation of safety programs and initiatives. The position requires a proactive approach to managing HSE data and supporting field personnel with their safety needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be comfortable presenting training to small groups.
  • Must have regular and timely attendance at work.
  • Willing to learn to operate compliance databases like ISN, Avetta, and KPA Flex.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update HSE documentation, including safety manuals, policies, procedures, and training records.
  • Track and manage HSE compliance deadlines (e.g., audits, inspections, and certifications).
  • Coordinate the distribution of HSE communications, reports, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal and external audits, regulatory agencies, and company management.
  • Monitor and document compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
  • Support the incident reporting process by logging incidents, tracking corrective actions, and generating trend analyses.
  • Organize and schedule Health, Safety, and Environment training sessions for employees and contractors.
  • Maintain training databases and ensure certifications are current.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials and presentations.
  • Manage WISCO Trucking's new hire process.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of safety programs, such as risk assessments, emergency response plans, and hazard identification systems.
  • Track and promote participation in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives and campaigns.
  • Ensure all HSE-related documents are properly filed, accessible, and kept up to date.
  • Use software tools and systems to manage HSE data, such as incident logs, inspections, and training records.
  • Coordinate safety equipment procurement, inventory, and distribution.
  • Support field personnel with HSE-related queries and resource needs.
  • Assist with site inspections and audits as needed.
