About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable High School History Teacher to deliver engaging, rigorous instruction in world and U.S. history. The ideal candidate will teach a range of history courses and inspire students to think critically about historical events, analyze primary and secondary sources, and understand the connections between the past and the present. Both full-time and part-time candidates are eligible for company-paid benefits. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in history, Social Studies, Education, or a related field
Passion for working with high school students and supporting both academic and personal growth
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Warm, enthusiastic, and engaging classroom presence
Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and motivating learning environment

Responsibilities

Teach a range of high school history courses (such as World History, U.S. History, Government/Civics, Honors, and/or AP history courses), aligned with curriculum standards and course requirements.
Design and deliver clear, engaging lessons that promote historical inquiry, critical thinking, and analysis of primary and secondary sources.
Guide students in developing strong research, analytical, and discussion skills related to historical topics and themes.
Prepare students for assessments, including AP exams where applicable, through effective instruction, practice, and ongoing feedback.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and support students at varying skill levels.
Foster a positive, student-centered classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respectful debate, and thoughtful examination of historical perspectives.
Collaborate with administrators, faculty, and parents to support student achievement and contribute to a strong school community.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
