About The Position

The HRSD Specialist - Onboarding and Offboarding is responsible for efficiently administering HR services related to onboarding and offboarding processes for North America locations, including the Corporate Denver Headquarters. This role involves providing strategic counsel to leaders, ensuring compliance with various regulations, and improving customer experience throughout the onboarding and offboarding processes.

Requirements

  • A degree in human resources, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors (CORE) system and general HR operations and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in data management updates in SuccessFactors Onboarding Module/CORE.
  • Experience in service delivery ticket management.
  • Foundational skills in addressing customer complaints and escalations.
  • Ability to follow procedural steps and complete concrete tasks.
  • Self-awareness and adaptability in behavior to achieve productive outcomes.
  • Effective team collaboration and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HR process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to onboarding and offboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Administer People HR services related to onboarding and offboarding processes for North America locations.
  • Provide strategic counsel and partnership to leaders on onboarding and offboarding programs.
  • Ensure proper execution of onboarding and offboarding programs aligned with business goals.
  • Support end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, focusing on customer experience and process improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for onboarding and offboarding initiatives across North America and globally.
  • Monitor progress of onboarding/offboarding CORE module enhancements and collaborate with HR Systems & Integrations team.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, business controls, and SOX for all onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Document onboarding and offboarding processes, including workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Engage with stakeholders to discuss metrics, adoption, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the severance process and ensure compliance with local jurisdictional and legal requirements.
  • Overhaul and maintain Newmont Sharepoint for onboarding and offboarding materials.
