This is a grant-funded training program designed to equip participants with the essential concepts and skills needed to function as Community Health Workers (CHWs). The program aims to bridge healthcare, social services, and the community, providing individuals with the necessary training to help patients and their families access quality healthcare and community support services. Participants will receive credit hours necessary to apply for CHW licensure in Oregon upon completion. The program includes both online classroom training and on-site hands-on internship/externship training.
