Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for an HRMS Intern to join our Human Resources department. This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, internship opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work model. Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group is comprised of more than 1,700 Permanente physicians and nearly 300 staff professionals who come together to make a positive impact on the health and lives of more than 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Reporting to the HRMS Manager, the HRMS Intern will support a variety of HRMS analytics projects. The HRMS Intern will assist with employee data analysis and modeling, building and designing and an internal HR website, HR audit support, system configuration, and operational improvements that enhance the employee experience and HR service delivery. The intern will gain hands-on experience with HR technology, data analysis, and workflow optimization, and process improvement while contributing to meaningful projects that improve HR operations and the employee experience. You can expect to: Analyze HR workflows and system capabilities to identify opportunities for automation, optimize internal resources, and enhance overall HR operational effectiveness Assist in designing and developing an internal HR website that centralizes HR resources, policies, and updates to improve accessibility, enhance communication, and support a positive employee experience Develop ad-hoc and recurring reports in UKG Business Intelligence to enable workforce analytics, modeling, and data visualization that drive actionable insights and support strategic HR initiatives Support HR audits, data validation, and reconciliation to maintain data accuracy, quality, and compliance across HRMS systems
