The HRIS Specialist is responsible for performing Human Resources-related duties inside the HCM environment at FHCN. This role involves assisting in implementing and configuring the HRIS, including data migration, system testing, and user training. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for achieving department goals and metrics for functional areas assigned, developing recommendations for updating workflows and policies, and serving as a subject matter expert in the assigned functional area. Additionally, the specialist performs high-level administrative functions to comply with regulations and department deadlines, ensuring the accuracy of all records and the integrity of employee data in the HRIS database. The role includes conducting audits and analysis of ad-hoc reports, serving as a liaison in updating or resolving programming and related HRIS systems problems, and being the primary point of contact for troubleshooting HRIS issues and providing technical support to HR end-users. Collaboration with HR team members is essential to ensure that HRIS policies, procedures, and best practices align with system configurations. The HRIS Specialist will generate custom reports to support HR and management decision-making, stay current on industry trends and best practices related to HR technology and HCM systems, and provide training and support to HR staff and managers on HRIS functionality and processes. The role may also involve assisting with various human resources response plans to comply with federal, state, and accrediting agencies with data contained in the HCM module, along with performing other duties as assigned.
