The HRIS Specialist is responsible for performing Human Resources-related duties inside the HCM environment at FHCN. This role involves assisting in the implementation and configuration of the HRIS, including data migration, system testing, and user training, while achieving department goals and metrics for assigned functional areas.

  • Assist in implementing and configuring the HRIS, including data migration, system testing, and user training.
  • Develop recommendations for updating workflows and policies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the assigned functional area.
  • Perform high level administrative functions to comply with regulations and department deadlines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all records and the integrity of employee data in the HRIS database.
  • Conduct audits and analysis of ad-hoc reports.
  • Act as a liaison in updating or resolving programming and related HRIS systems problems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting HRIS issues and providing technical support to HR end-users.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to align HRIS policies, procedures, and best practices with system configurations.
  • Generate custom reports to support HR and management decision-making.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to HR technology and HCM systems.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and managers on HRIS functionality and processes.
  • Assist various human resources response plans to comply with federal, state, and accrediting agencies with data contained in the HCM module.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree with a recognized major or comparable experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, processes, and regulations.
  • Administrative knowledge of HR technologies, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
