This position is a “hands-on” role requiring the ability to juggle both day-to-day operational activities as well as strategic, project management functions. Position is a seasoned project management professional with a strong HR technology and business process background, especially in Workday Systems, to lead and implement innovative HRIS tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or related field
  • 7 years HRIS/technology related experience.
  • Previous project management, business modeling, and business intelligence experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to configure, maintain, and optimize Workday business processes and security roles.
  • Experience leading HR technology projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of HR data governance, reporting, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Workday reporting tools (Calculated Fields, Advanced Reports, Dashboards).
  • Prior experience in a managerial or team lead role, overseeing HRIS analysts or similar positions.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (EEO, pay transparency, data privacy)
  • 10 years of HRIS experience, with at least 3 years managing Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits).
  • Previous project management, business modeling, and business intelligence experience.
  • Previous managerial experience

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the strategic direction of the function.
  • Participate in the development and execution of HRIS strategy.
  • Provide content and thought leadership to identify technology led innovation opportunities within HR.
  • Manages and successfully implement projects associated with new functionality and/or enhancements to existing functionality; including requirements analysis and documentation, design/build oversight, testing and deployment; post implementation support and transition to ongoing operations.
  • Partners with IT to prioritize, design and test HR solutions to deliver highest levels of functionality.
  • Identifies and drives opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence based upon metrics and customer feedback for business processes and systems.
  • Recommends technical solutions to address opportunities for improving existing process to further streamline and optimize operational effectiveness within HR
  • Ensures data integrity through management of data and effective data processing guidelines.
  • Develops, documents and implements new and revised processes to improve data integrity and promote the consistent use of HR data.
  • Promotes improved reporting and analytics for HR.
  • Establishes vision, opportunities and process to further standardize and warehouse HR data for improved information gathering and reporting/analytics.
  • Defines and implements vendor/partner management process to manage and align HNTB and vendor capabilities
  • Develops leads and maintains HRIS project governance process.
  • Facilitate evaluation of new enhancement and project requests against strategic priorities with key HR stakeholders and IT.
  • Works closely with HR managers, IT, various functional groups and business units in understanding and prioritizing HR Systems enhancements to meet changing business needs.
  • Provides planning, budgeting and forecasting of current and future HRIS needs.
  • Maintain awareness of HRIS vendor plans and their potential impact on HRIS functionality.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, mentoring, development, and retention of staff, including performance and compensation reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
