The HRIS Business Systems Analyst at Veolia North America plays a crucial role in supporting various HR systems. This position is responsible for troubleshooting system defects, administering, configuring, reporting, testing, and managing new developments/releases. The analyst will work closely with end users to develop system specifications and ensure that the systems meet the needs of the organization. The role involves documenting and analyzing requirements, developing detailed data and functional designs, and assisting with conversion, testing, training, and other project needs throughout the development life cycle. In addition to these responsibilities, the analyst will design, refresh, and implement the configuration and quality assurance processes to support HR system solutions. They will assist with system conversions and upgrades, including data conversion, mapping, analysis, and integration of best practices. The analyst will maintain, analyze, and support reports of varying complexities using appropriate reporting tools, and will perform root cause analysis to recommend solutions for HR systems issues. The role also includes developing and implementing audit and testing procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR system data. The analyst will identify process improvement and automation opportunities, participate in initiatives, and provide long-term maintenance and support for HR systems. This position requires collaboration with business leads and partners to leverage industry and system best practices in the configuration of the platform. Other job-related duties may include cross-training and supporting various HRIS applications, processes, and reporting, as well as assisting with special projects as required.
