About The Position

Bertelsmann Global Business Services is a shared service company providing payroll and accounting services for multiple Bertelsmann entities in North America. We are seeking an additional detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to collaboratively manage and enhance our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR systems, data analysis, and process improvement. In this unique position you will support, maintain, and analyze the overall integrity and effectiveness of HRIS applications, including UKG system configuration, workflows, permissions, interfaces, reporting, technical support, troubleshooting and testing/implementation of upgrades and new features. Additional responsibilities include providing customer support to our multiple Bertelsmann clients and identifying/implementing process improvements that positively impact the payroll department or client experience. New hires will receive several months of hands-on shadowing and training. Bertelsmann is building a global network of Accounting Shared Service Centers (ASSC) to bundle and standardize the Group's accounting processes. This includes Accounting Shared Service Centers at existing Bertelsmann locations in core European countries, North America and China. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information technology or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS administration or a similar role
  • Proficiency in HRIS software, preferably with UKG (formerly known as Ultipro)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Ability to produce quality work under pressure, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an insatiable desire to learn
  • PC proficiency to include all Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
