About The Position

The HRIS Analyst position is a full-time role based in Arlington, TX. The primary responsibilities include designing and developing timely and accurate ad-hoc reports using Cognos Business Intelligence, providing analysis and interpretation of report data, and serving as a resource for HRIS functional team expertise in HR and Benefits modules. The analyst will partner with HR staff to solve problems, monitor the security of the HRIS application, and maintain data integrity by auditing and investigating errors. Participation in special projects and the development of training for new HRIS initiatives are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR field.
  • 3-4 years of experience with Cognos Analytics Business Intelligence reporting.
  • Experience with UltiPro (preferred) or a similar HR system.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated analytic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Exceptionally strong customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop timely and accurate ad-hoc reports with Cognos Business Intelligence.
  • Provide analysis and interpretation of report data as required.
  • Serve as HRIS functional team resource providing broad expertise in the HR and Benefits modules.
  • Partner with HR staff in the field to solve problems and support their needs.
  • Monitor security of the HRIS application.
  • Maintain data integrity by auditing trouble areas, investigating errors, identifying trends, and taking corrective action regarding data integrity issues.
  • Participate in special and company-wide projects as appropriate.
  • Participate in developing and implementing new systems and upgrades.
  • Develop and present training for new HRIS initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
