At USAA, we are seeking a dedicated HRIS Analyst (Mid-Level) for our Workday Payroll Configuration Team. This role is crucial as it serves as a point of contact and a proficient knowledge resource for HR business projects that involve the development, configuration, implementation, and testing of the Workday Payroll Module. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues that impact data quality and integrity. This position collaborates with management to enhance the HR infrastructure by providing valuable input towards HR Information Solutions. Additionally, the analyst will assess overall project and operational risk and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes. The HRIS Analyst will lead and facilitate moderately complex HR business projects that involve systems and/or business processes aimed at achieving business goals and operational objectives, with oversight from senior team members or management. This role requires organizing and facilitating working teams, guiding them in the development and delivery of work products. The analyst will also be responsible for ensuring data quality and integrity by monitoring system output and validating interfaces and systems. Partnering with the IT community or vendor customer service is essential to assist customers in resolving system and/or data issues. Furthermore, the analyst will document and understand client requirements, which may include business requirements, use cases/user stories, functional requirements, configuration requirements, data and reporting requirements, test case development, and integration requirements. To remain effective in this role, the HRIS Analyst must stay current on HR system and data practices to implement new ideas and leverage system technology for operational effectiveness. Ensuring that risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures is also a key responsibility.
