About The Position

The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and supports HRIS upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related Degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience administering Workday HCM platform
  • Team player with excellent relationship building skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize and assess work in order to meet aggressive deadlines and cope in fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs and pivot tables) required
  • Demonstrated technical, research and analytical aptitude, report writing and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and report findings
  • Demonstrated flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to be on call for production support issues after hours

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Payroll is preferred
  • Prior experience with data mapping, writing test plans and test cases preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily system administration for Workday HCM/Payroll System ( Modules can include Recruiting, Onboarding, HCM , Payroll, Performance Management, Advanced Compensation, Time Keeping, HELP, Surveys and Learning Management)
  • Monitor, research and resolve problems with Workday. Provide recommendations and alternate solutions. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure appropriate parties are involved
  • Manage Workday security permissions for end users including intersection security
  • Base table configuration needed to support the business for changes such as adding, deleting and changing cost centers, locations, earnings and deduction, etc.
  • Create/Update business processes to meet new functional requirements
  • Participate in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases(RL1/RL2);
  • Participate in rollout of new Workday modules including Workday Time, Advanced Compensation,Learning, etc.
  • Research issues in processes that integrate with Workday from ancillary systems including Time Keeping, Expense Reporting, Identity Management, Third Party Benefits administration, etc.
  • Create and execute EIB’s to facilitate Mass changes
  • Create MOM’s to effectively manage Tasks generated from other Business Processes
  • Recommend and implement enhancements in Workday platform
  • Manage support tickets ensuring adherence to SLA’s
  • Actively utilize Workday support communities to identify best practices and issue resolutions
  • Create and run adhoc reports to perform root cause investigations and scope issues properly
  • Fulfillment of new/change reporting requests for ongoing reports
  • Provide reporting and data mining support to audit and legal as requested
  • Continually monitor master data setup and configuration to ensure accuracy and integrity of HR/Payroll configurations
  • Gather requirements from HR Business Partners to deliver KPI’s through dashboards, automated reports or other real time tools.
  • Document key business processes and configuration
  • Assemble FAQ’s, Quick Start Sheets and other end user materials and ensure they are delivered to the target audience and remain easily accessible in the future
  • Deliver train the trainer type sessions to allow functionality and process to be understood down to the appropriate levels. Show ability to tailor messages appropriate to the audience
