About The Position

What You'll Do Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders on all people-related matters. Support team members through key moments, from onboarding to career growth to transitions. Oversee and coach the People & Culture Coordinator, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and employee support. Partner with leaders to strengthen engagement, performance, and recognition. Shape programs and processes that reflect our culture of appreciation, growth, and teamwork. Ensure compliance with company policies and federal and state employment laws. Collaborate with Training & Development on manager training (interviewing, performance management, compliance, etc.). Support performance improvement initiatives by assisting Property Managers with improvement plans. Conduct anniversary and exit interviews, analyze feedback, and recommend improvements to boost retention and satisfaction. Offer expertise and clarity on company policies, procedures, and people-management best practices. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of progressive HR/People & Culture experience, with at least 2–3 years in a business partner or similar role. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Experience leading or mentoring a team member, with a collaborative and supportive approach. Proven skills in employee relations, performance coaching, and helping leaders bring out the best in their teams. Ability to support a distributed workforce and navigate the unique dynamics of a multi-site business. Warm, approachable communicator who builds trust and credibility across all levels. Someone who thrives on balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on, people-centered work. Nice to have: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). Bilingual skills to connect with a diverse workforce. Requirements
