About The Position

The Human Resources Temp is responsible for supporting the HR department with administrative tasks and personnel record management. This role serves as a backup receptionist for the main office and provides administrative support to the HR department, including filing, HR administrative tasks, and creating internal communications such as flyers and announcements. The ideal candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of confidentiality while supporting daily HR operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of Human Resources or office administrative support experience
  • Experience working with confidential or sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of business office operations, filing systems, and administrative clerical procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and the public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in daily operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • California Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize personnel files, ensuring records remain current and compliant.
  • Perform filing of HR documentation and administrative paperwork.
  • Process employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Update employee personal information in the HRIS system.
  • Serve as backup receptionist for the main office, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries.
  • Provide HR administrative support as needed.
  • Assist with creating internal communications, flyers, and HR-related announcements.
  • Assist in the coordination of HR-related events and activities.
  • Perform other tasks or functions deemed necessary to support the daily operations of the HR department.
