About The Position
As Garney's HR Technology Intern in Kansas City, MO you will assist the HR Technology team in various tasks to assist a vastly growing Garney. To thrive in this role you will need to have a positive attitude and computer skills. This is a great chance to learn about internal HRIS systems and practices at a professional construction company.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Assist the HR Technology team with maintaining and supporting HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors and other HR systems Support employee data management and data integrity audits Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and validation during HRIS updates or enhancements Participate in HR technology projects including document management systems, onboarding solutions, and learning systems Help create and maintain HRIS documentation, process guides, and training materials Assist with reporting and data analysis using HR systems and Microsoft Excel Support HRIS team members with system configuration, data uploads, and integrations Provide support for HR system users and assist with resolving system-related inquiries Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for HR technology and processes WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HR Management, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or related field Junior or Senior standing preferred Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Interest in HR systems, technology, data analytics, or system administration Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required LET'S TALK THE PERKS! Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HR Management, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or related field
- Junior or Senior standing preferred
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Interest in HR systems, technology, data analytics, or system administration
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
