Our Network Office team provides the critical systems & resources needed for our Financial Advisors to achieve their entrepreneurial dream. The HR & Talent Consultant partners directly with the Chief Human Resource Officer on the Staff & Associate Financial Representative Hiring & HR operations of our firm. The HR & Talent Consultant is focused on sourcing, qualifying, and selecting talented team members to join our Agency & Advisor teams. Additionally, this role serves as the primary point of contact for all Staff Onboarding, ensuring a preeminent experience for all parties involved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and full life cycle recruiting.
  • Strong organizational & time management skills with ability to set priorities & meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to change and identify process improvements.
  • Proven leadership experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and recruitment technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align recruitment efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all online recruitment platforms and job postings.
  • Assist hiring managers with job creation & workflow.
  • Build a candidate pipeline by sourcing candidates from referrals, community engagements, online platforms, etc.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews with candidates to determine the best fit for the role.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience with transparency, prompt follow-up, and clear and consistent communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop strong relationships with financial advisors and the network office leadership team to deliver consistent high standards of recruiting results for the organization.
  • Consult with financial advisors on hiring for their teams. Help them determine their needs, what they are looking for, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Maintain interview templates & sourcing resources.
  • Facilitate completion of selection tools, including the Culture Index.
  • Continuously improve the selection process and hiring decisions that reflect the business needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations for competitive attraction strategies.
  • Foster a culture within the firm to increase referrals to roles on teams.
  • Oversee the offer process, CL&R, onboarding, technology set up, etc. of all new hires.
  • Manage the Onboarding Tasks & templates through our HR portal, BambooHR.
  • Regularly update all HR documentation & onboarding documents to comply with evolving employment requirements.
  • Oversee hiring assessments, ensuring a high degree of satisfaction for hiring managers & candidates.
  • Coordinate Offboarding tasks & responsibilities for Staff & Associate Financial Representatives.
  • Assist with First Time Hire setup for new employing Financial Advisors, Ensembles, Teams.
  • Maintain internal HR Documents, including our Employee Handbook, Benefits Enrollment Booklet, and annual disclosures.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment & management where applicable.
  • Assist with creation & management of firm performance management processes & systems.
  • Assist with annual initiatives, including the Crains NYC Best Place to Work application and FX Assessment.
  • When able, assist that Talent Acquisition Team with the sourcing & selecting of Financial Representative candidates.
