About The Position

The HR Systems Analyst supports large-scale systems in a variety of ways, including systems design, implementation, upgrades, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. This analyst will work with the user community and other stakeholders to help define business processes and determine how to best implement these processes in the related systems. The individual in this role also serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing business process flows for process improvement opportunities. This analyst may also be required to manage smaller-scale system/process enhancement projects, guiding the projects from requirements gathering through implementation and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology).
  • Three to five years of HRIS or ERP systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Systems implementation experience, reporting, and dashboard/metrics distribution and analysis preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS or ERP software systems strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and HRIS or ERP systems.
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to relate well to others personally and professionally, easily building and maintaining relationships with other departments and vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and win favor in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to lead/facilitate meetings and keep meetings appropriately focused.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reporting and dashboard/metrics distribution and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Primary duties consist of analysis, design, development/configuration, testing, documentation, and/or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user or system design specifications.
  • Assist in maintaining automated business workflows; liaise with relevant departments to define requirements, and oversee testing prior to implementation.
  • Analyze new functionality to help determine if it should be considered for a future release.
  • Collaborate with functional area experts on deployment of new functionality projects.
  • Assist with preparation efforts for periodic software vendor updates, including testing updates to existing business processes, as well as new functionality.
  • Consult with partner organizations to assess needs and support related implementation projects.
  • Work with vendor consultants to design and implement system changes.
  • Engage with end users and management to define reporting needs.
  • Create basic reports, and partner with report-writer experts on creation of more complicated reports.
