About The Position

The HR Summer Internship at UTHealth offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources, specifically within the Compensation department. Interns will work on-site in the Texas Medical Center, engaging in a structured program that includes training, project management, and collaboration with seasoned HR professionals. The internship runs for 40 hours per week from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025, and culminates in a presentation at the end of the program.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data analytics in a compensation context.
  • Familiarity with HR tools and software.

Responsibilities
