About The Position

The HR Strategist for Pilgrim's will be based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. This position will report to the Director of HR Strategy for Pilgrim's. This role will work with internal corporate teams to include, but not limited to Human Resources, Safety, Sales, Operations and with other members throughout Pilgrim's.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in HR required
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent technical skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and HR-SAP preferred)
  • College degree or related experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic development, coordination, and management of all HR programs for Pilgrim's
  • Assess development needs of the business and propose solutions
  • Support the design and implementation of methods to communicate, train and educate employees
  • Support communications efforts and the execution of PPC strategies and business unit/facility tactical initiatives
  • Provide focus, accountability and drive ownership for key performance indicators
  • Provides support in managing vendors
  • Possesses basic project management skills
  • Supports the development of plans and analysis to improve staffing, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics
  • Collaborates across HR to identify interventions and strategies to close gaps
  • Develops reports and presentations to summarize data, strategies, and recommendations
  • Bring a consulting background and an ownership mentality so as to work effectively and quickly
  • Travel is required and may have little notice
  • Other duties as assigned
